About the Business
The Gold Disc was established in 2002 by music lover David Breese after carrying the idea arround in his head for the best part of 6 years before taking the plunge! When the gold disc started out we wanted to create a unique birthday gift by celebrating the No.1 on the day that people were born. The original idea is still going strong and we sell our Birthday No.1's through several online gift stores.
One of the off shoots of the idea was the introduction of the Wedding First Dance Frames and the launch of a sister 'Our First Dance' website. Judging by the testimonials 'The Gold Disc' receive from so many of our happy customers, it's not just the discs that hit the spot with the recipient, but our exceptional personal service to the customer.
