The Gates, established in 2007 as an independent, gift, home furnishings & art shop. Situated in the beautiful market town of Oswestry, Shropshire on the Marches borderlands, you will find us opposite the picturesque St Oswald's Church just a short five minute walk from the main shopping area. The shop hosts a selection of hand made and Fairtrade products; many of which can be purchased here online. We offer a bespoke service on all our own hand crafted products. So why not commission a piece perfect for your home interior or make a gift really special with a personalised greeting, name or date. Products sold at The Gates will always have a story. Perhaps they will be Fair Trade from far-away places like Madagascar & Morocco, or maybe produced as part of a sustainable project out in Africa. Other items will have been made & designed in the UK or handmade by local crafters & artisans.
