About the Business
Surrounded by talented artists as family members, I was immersed at a young age. By the age of 13 I knew I wanted to be a jeweller and worked in a repairs workshop and shop, in Cornwall, between School, College & university. Studying for 6 years in Applied Arts and Jewellery & Silversmithing at Birmingham School of Jewellery I graduated with awards of Top Student and the BJA Production award. In 2009 I set up my own business and have been fortunate to get selected into major national shows, Exhibitions and prestigious galleries.
Now living in Devon on the amazing Kigbeare Studio's site, with a brilliant workshop, I feel very privileged to have a job I enjoy. My dad and I would go and dig holes in the Cornish stone walls which surrounded my parent's garden, finding old china and glass bottles. There's so many! Nora Fok is one of my favourites, her beautiful sculptural nylon textile forms, attention to detail and passion really inspires me. Receiving the BJA Productions award.
