About the Business
Owen & Robinson was founded in 1801 and was originally set up as a pawn shop, moving to Leeds City Centre was one of our best decisions as we opened a store on the corner of Boar Lane. Moving forwards with the economic society we turned from a pawn shop and started selling luxury jewellery and clocks. As the production of timepieces worn on the wrist were developed we began to incorporate these into our store. In 1972 we moved to Bond Street where the vast development of high end diamond jewellery and branded watch houses launched Owen & Robinson into the limelight in Leeds. Having always been known for exceptional quality and service we saw more and more people walk through our doors and this allowed us to grow even stronger as a company and brand.
