About the Business
Hebden Bridge Mill has been situated at the heart of Hebden Bridge, in the beautiful Calder Valley, for almost 700 years. Rescued in the 1970s, it has been gradually converted to its present uses. The giant waterwheel now on show in the café, was restored in traditional cast iron and oak in the year 2000. Our gift shop stocks lots of items for the discerning tourist and local alike. We have a wide choice of designer greeting cards, hand-made jewellery, ceramics, beauty products, Punjabi rugs and a great range of seasonal specialities.
The attractive riverside café has a wide range of tempting treats, including speciality teas and coffees, locally brewed beers and ciders, and food choices from delicate nibbles to traditional café classics. Pancakes a speciality every Tuesday and at weekends. Our vision for the shop and café is to offer Affordable Style and Easy Eating with an emphasis on quality, fair trade and environmental sustainability.
