About the Business
Emporium Tea Rooms and Fancy Goods shop is part of Dimensions Community Enterprises and is being run as a social enterprise, working together with pupils from TreeHouse School. The wonderful community spirit which has always been a part of Emporium is enhanced by our work with young people with autism. In addition to serving glorious homemade food and delicious teas and coffees, Emporium also offers a range of classes for both grownups and children, ranging from sewing, knitting and crocheting to French conversation, painting, cookery and children's crafts classes.
Special events such as the popular "Storytelling & Pudding Evening" are also held at regular intervals. Emporium also offers a delighful traditional Afternoon Tea and party packages for both children and grown ups. Emporium's Fancy Goods shop sells a lovely and unique selection of vintage china, homemade jams and sweets, colourful kitchenware, toys and handcrafted items such as jewellery, artwork, toddler clothing and aprons.
