About the Business
Sadly neither of us originates from the Cotswolds! We were both brought up in Scotland but have spent many years wandering round the UK and overseas before settling permanently in the Cotswolds. We are the only thing about Cotswold Gifts that is not designed, created or produced in the Cotswolds! However we are definitely inspired by the region and hope that this shows in the products we have selected for our online shop.
We were both finding it a struggle to shop with reluctant children in tow. The supermarket was bad enough but looking for presents was a nightmare and yet shopping especially in the Cotswolds should be fun! Buying local is also important to us. We started asking ourselves where we could buy locally designed or produced gifts in one go. The Cotswolds is bursting with renowned gift shops full of beautiful gifts. However, we wanted to create something that quite simply only represents gifts which are designed, created and made in the Cotswolds.
