About the Business
Checkpoint is a leading importer and distributor of children's rainwear, accessories and gifts. The company was formed in 1995 by Nick Whone who had previously spent many successful years in the Gift and Toy Industry. The company has come a long way since then and, due to steady increases in sales volumes, has been forced to seek larger premises several times over the years. The company now boasts a modern warehouse, set in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside, of 12,000 sq feet and a further 3,000 sq feet of office accommodation.
The company has distributed the world famous Kidorable brand since 1998 and was a pioneer in bringing Children's Rainwear "ensembles" to the UK market. When it comes to matching wellies, raincoats, backpacks and umbrellas we are the LEADERS.
We are passionate about our business and hope that this is reflected in the manner in which we conduct our business with our large and varied client base.
