Black Orchid was opened on Friday 13th April 1986 by Kate and Craig Benson in Stamford Walk.now the site of BOO! (Black Orchid Occasions) Our daywear, and accessories shop is now 100 yards down the road at 7 St. Marys St Stamford with added Aladdin's Cave, Gifts and Interiors room, and probably the best selection of jewellery in the area, plus a corridor of beautiful and artistic cards.
