About the Business
Our small shop on Back Lane, Sedbergh, should be the first port of call for musicians and music lovers alike. Our good quality second-hand books cover a wide variety of subjects, including Art, History, Modern First Editions, Poetry and Topography (and, of course, Music), but what sets us apart is our large stock of second-hand sheet music. I am a keen amateur musician; my husband Noel is a professional trombonist, brass teacher and conductor. We are happy to advise on suitable repertoire for different levels of ability.
We have a large stock of Naxos classical CDs, Twentieth Century and Early Music being particularly well represented. We also have an imaginative selection of music themed cards and gifts. Our latest range of Fair Trade percussion instruments is proving extremely popular.
